Support, Warranty & Returns
Every BMX product is built to be used every day. If something is not working the way it should, contact us at support@heybmx.com and we’ll help sort it out.
30-Day Returns
Products purchased directly from heybmx.com can be returned within 30 days of delivery.
For buyer’s remorse, ordering the wrong item, changing your mind, or no longer needing the product, the item must be unused, in its original packaging, and include all original accessories. Customers are responsible for return shipping costs on non-defective returns.
Returns must be approved before they are sent back. Refunds are issued after the returned item is received and inspected.
Purchases From Other Retailers
If you purchased from Amazon, a retail partner, or another authorized BMX retailer, returns, refunds, exchanges, and price adjustments are handled by the original place of purchase and are subject to that retailer’s policy.
BMX’s limited warranty still applies to genuine BMX products purchased from authorized sellers with valid proof of purchase.
Exchanges
For non-defective exchanges through heybmx.com, such as a different color or model, the original item must be returned and inspected before an exchange is approved.
If you need the new item sooner, the fastest option is to place a new order and return the original item for a refund once it is received and approved.
Damaged, Defective, or Wrong Items
If your order arrives damaged, if the product appears defective, or if you received the wrong item, contact us right away at support@heybmx.com.
Include your order number, a short description of the issue, and photos or video if available. If the issue is confirmed, we’ll make it right with a replacement, refund, or another support-approved resolution.
2-Year Limited Warranty
All BMX products are covered by a 2-year limited warranty from the original date of purchase when bought through heybmx.com, Amazon, or an authorized BMX seller.
The warranty covers defects in materials or workmanship under normal use. If a covered issue is confirmed, BMX may send a replacement product of equal or greater value.
To start a warranty claim, email support@heybmx.com with your proof of purchase, the retailer name if not purchased from heybmx.com, a description of the issue, and photos or video showing the problem.
BMX may request the original product back for inspection, fraud prevention, or recurring defect review, but not every warranty claim requires the product to be returned.
What the Warranty Does Not Cover
The warranty does not cover accidental damage, misuse, water damage, drops, unauthorized modifications, improper maintenance, normal wear and tear, lost or stolen items, or products purchased from unauthorized sellers.
Consumable parts, including batteries, are covered only when the issue is due to a defect in materials or workmanship under normal use.
Battery Safety Issues
If your product is swollen, leaking, smoking, melted, punctured, unusually hot, or physically damaged, stop using it immediately and contact support@heybmx.com.
Do not send a potentially unsafe battery product back through a normal return shipment unless BMX support specifically instructs you to do so. We may ask for photos, video, order details, and safe disposal confirmation before providing a resolution.
Price Drop Protection
If you purchased from heybmx.com within 12 hours before a sale began, we may issue store credit for the price difference. This applies only to purchases made directly on heybmx.com during an active promotion.
Regional Rights
This page applies to purchases made directly through heybmx.com.
If you purchased from another BMX regional site, marketplace, retailer, or authorized seller, the return process may be handled by that seller or regional BMX store.
Nothing in this policy limits any rights you may have under applicable consumer protection laws.
