What changed since your last iPhone
Most people skip a couple of generations. Here's what Apple rated each Pro at, and what charger it took to get there.

Two things jumped. The wired charger Apple tests with went from 20W to 60W-plus, and it now has to support AVS (Adjustable Voltage Supply), a newer USB Power Delivery feature that lets the charger fine-tune its voltage. And wireless went from 15W on the 15 Pro to 25W.
So the 20W cube in your kitchen still charges iPhone 18 Pro. It just won't get you anywhere near the speed you paid for.

The 15-minute charge: what to look for
Apple's fine print for iPhone 18 Pro's up-to-50-percent-in-about-15-minutes: a 60W-capable adapter or higher with Adjustable Voltage Supply, on USB Power Delivery 3.1 or later, with a 60W-capable USB-C cable.
Watts alone don't tell you. Plenty of 65W and 100W chargers don't list AVS. Find "AVS" by name on the charger's spec page before you buy it for this.
