iPhone Duo Pre-Order Checklist (2026): What to Order With It on October 16

Set up the phone order before October 16

Apple opens iPhone Duo preorders at 5 a.m. Pacific on October 16, with availability beginning October 23. The U.S. starting price is $1,999. Before the order window, choose your storage, color, carrier and payment option on Apple's store.

Check the delivery estimate attached to your order. October 23 is the first availability date, not a promise that every preorder arrives that day. Keep the phone and accessory delivery estimates together so you can see what is still missing.

Check the wall charger before buying another cable

Apple lists the phone and a 1-meter USB-C Charge Cable in the box, with no wall charger. For its published wired fast-charge setup, Apple specifies a 60W-capable or higher USB PD adapter and a 60W-capable or higher USB-C cable. The box listing does not establish the included cable's wattage, so check its rating before relying on it for that setup.

Check your current adapter's USB PD rating before ordering a replacement. For a single-phone charging setup, GaNSta 70W LCD (C1-70WA) provides up to 70W from either USB-C port when used alone. Choose a case for how you use the phone

Apple lists the Duo Case at $79 and the Duo Folio with Kickstand at $129, with orders beginning October 16. Choose the Case for a two-part cover or the Folio when you want its built-in stand. Apple says both support its magnetic and wireless charging systems.

Buy the pair when you need both wall and portable power

If you need both portable power and a wall charger, choose the Duo Travel Kit. If your current adapter already meets the source requirement, choose the power bank on its own.
